Growing Together in the Word

At Trinity, we are resolved to be a disciple-making church. Our goal is to help you discover what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus Christ as we grow together around God’s Word. The following is a scope and sequence of our Life Group studies:

  • TOPIC: Discovering Jesus

    Goal: To start a journey with Jesus and understand the Gospel.

    We will help you explore faith in God and answer your questions as you consider following Jesus.

    TOPIC: Spiritual Formation

    Goal: To practice the Way of Jesus and learn how to be formed into His image

    You will learn about the teachings of Jesus, spiritual disciplines, baptism, and church membership

    TOPIC: Intro. to the Bible

    Goal: To discover the trustworthiness of the Bible

    We will discuss how the canon of Scripture was formed and why it is authoritative. Also includes a basic overview of the Bible.

    TOPIC: Basic Theology

    Goal: To learn the basic doctrines of our faith

    We will focus on the nature of God, His plan of salvation, and a basic understanding of doctrines

  • TOPIC: Biblical Interpretation

    Goal: To learn how to read and interpret Scripture

    Classes will focus on the tools and skills necessary to appropriately read and interpret the Bible.

    TOPIC: Inductive Bible Studies

    Goal: To practice Biblical interpretation skills

    Centered around Scripture, classes will focus on studying individual books of the Bible

    TOPIC: Biblical Theology

    Goal: To discover the grand narrative of Scripture

    Helping you read through the Bible in Chronological Order and individual classes that explore themes of Scripture

    TOPIC: Systematic Theology

    Goal: To systematically study doctrines in Scripture

    Each class will do a deep dive into various theological topics found in the doctrinal statement

  • TOPIC: Evangelism

    Goal: To learn how to share the gospel and respond to objections

    We will inspire and train you in personal evangelism to reach a skeptical world.

    TOPIC: Spiritual Gifts/Training

    Goal: To discover and use our spiritual gifts

    These classes will help you discover how God has shaped you to serve the Body of Christ and provide opportunities for specific ministry training.

    TOPIC: Life Application Studies

    Goal: To apply Biblical truth to everyday life

    Classes will cover topics such as: Marriage, Finances, Mental Health, Sexuality, Relationships, and Work.
